Ottawa Fibre L.P. (OFI) warrants for a period of 6 months from date of delivery to the original purchaser only that the product is manufactured in accordance with OFI relevant published specifications.

Every claim under this warranty shall be deemed waived unless notice of the claim is given within 30 days of the date of defect to which each claim relates is discovered, or should have been discovered.

Limitation of liability: It is expressly understood and agreed that the limit of OFI's liability shall be re-supply of a like quantity of non-defective product and OFI shall have no such liability except where the damage results directly from defective materials. It is also agreed that OFI shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or other damages for any alleged negligence, breach of warranty, strict liability, or any other theory, other than the limited warranty set forth above. This warranty and limitation applies to the exclusion of any and all other terms, conditions or warranties whether contained on the purchaser's purchase order, contract or otherwise.

The above warranty is the entire obligation of the corporation and OFI makes no other representation, or warranty of any kind, express or implied, in fact or in law, including without limitation, the warranty of merchantability or the warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, other than the limited warranty set forth above.

No statement or recommendation made or assistance given by the corporation, or its representatives or agents, either oral or in its literature, to buyer or its representatives, or customers in connection with the use or installation, by buyer or its customers, of any goods sold hereunder, shall constitute a waive by the corporation of any provision hereof or affect the corporation's liability as herein defined.

This warranty is void if: The product is not installed as per OFI recommendations; the product is installed in areas which are exposed to the elements; are damaged by steam, fire, water, oil, freezing, physical abuse, smoke, chemicals, air jets, saws, etc.

This warranty does not extend to any product not manufactured by OFI, such as vapor barriers or facings; such goods carry only the warranty of the manufacturer.
