Since 1980, OFI has been manufacturing and distributing a broad range of fibreglass insulation products designed for thermal and acoustical applications and fibreglass ceiling tiles destined for the Canadian and U.S. residential (new construction and renovation markets) as well as the non-residential/industrial markets. OFI uses high levels of recycled glass content to manufacture its products and also enjoys a reputation for high quality products that comply with Canadian and U.S. product standards.
OFI operates under a low-cost structure and has been profitable for the last 22 years. OFI has also operated at near full capacity for approximately the last twelve years despite expanding its capacity several times. Its growth over time has been internally generated and fuelled by a combination of facility openings, numerous capacity expansions and continuous technological improvements.
